In one of our lessons, we explored the shape and texture of river stones not only through traditional sketches but also through hands-on modeling. This approach allows students to gain a deeper understanding of volume, proportions, and the unique characteristics of objects, as well as to feel their weight and form.
Creating three-dimensional representations of stones helps students more accurately convey their properties in drawing, while developing spatial awareness and observational skills.
